Miss Anna Doyle, born October 6, 1844, died January 30, 1908, age 65 years, three months, and 24 days.

Miss Anna Doyle was born near Ottawa, Canada, and lived at that place until 1865, when she removed with her parents to Iowa.

On January 11, 1868, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Hagarty. This Union was blessed with six children (living), all of whom are living. Mrs. J.N. (BESSIE) Nevins, Thomas, Lawrence and Agatha Hagarty of Greene, P.J. Hagarty of Maquotka, and Gertrude Hagarty of Dubuque.

The deceased has lived on a farm South of Greene ever since her marriage, until 5 years ago, when they removed to town to enjoy the rest they had so well earned.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Church, Saturday at 10 O'Clock by Father Sheehy and interment at Coldwater Cemetery, South of Greene.
