Marilyn Brazel, age 75, of Truesdale, Iowa, died on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.
Marilyn Darlene Hoesing was born on January 10, 1939, in Lebanon, Oregon, the daughter of Paul and Teresa (Suing) Hoesing. On December 26, 1956, she married Donald J. Brazel in Lebanon, Oregon. They were blessed with seven children.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Donald; her children: Charles Dale, Timothy Lee, Cinthia Kay (Tim Moritz), Joleen Ann (Michael Ohlson), Judith Linn (Rodney Schwenneker), Jennifer Leigh, and Andrea Michele; her grandchildren: Dana, Nathan, Michael, Ashley, Keri, Samantha, Mark, Chelsea, and Mitchell; many great grandchildren; her step grandchildren, Stephanie and Steven; and two brothers and two sisters; as well as extended family members and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Teresa Hoesing and one brother.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., March 05, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa.
