John LeRoy Carbaugh
November 20, 1954 - August 29, 2016John LeRoy Carbaugh, age 61, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on Monday, August 29, 2016, at his home in Storm Lake.
A son of Alfred Harold and Darlene Anna (Perrin) Carbaugh, John was born on November 20, 1954, in Storm Lake. He attended school in Storm Lake, graduating in 1973. On September 10, 1994, he married Michelle Sievers at Grace Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. Subsequently, they were blessed with two children, Katelyn and Kristina. A loving father, John enjoyed helping his daughters with their 4-H projects. He loved driving vehicles and taking pictures. Moreover, he enjoyed the time he spent as a cab driver for the Storm Lake Cab Company.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Katelyn (fiancé, Brody Reiling) Carbaugh, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Kristina Carbaugh, of Emmetsburg, Iowa; and his aunts, Buela Millard, of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Vida (Jerry) Clark, of Nebraska; as well as extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Darlene Carbaugh.
Memorial services will be held Friday, September 2, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Visitation will take place one hour before the service at the funeral home. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
