STORM LAKE PILOT - May 24, 1883 - Lydia Rhodes, May 15, at the home of her son G.P. Rhodes, Sulphur Springs.

Funeral was held May 16th.

She had lived for a short time in Storm Lake and her friends here will be gratified to know that her end was peaceful. She had been a member of the M.E. church for long years and died in the faith of the gospel. She had lived to the ripe old age of 81 years and 4 months. Her remains were deposited in our beautiful cemetery to await the resurrection morn. Among her last words were "Be ye also ready."
