STORM LAKE PILOT TRIBUNE - Jan 5, 1900 - G.P. Rhodes, at one time a resident of this city and also at Sulphur Springs but who afterwards removed to Kansas, while visiting at the home of his daughter, Mrs J.O. Douglas of Fonda, died quite suddenly last Friday morning. His remains were brought to this city over the Central last Saturday evening and were interred in the Storm Lake cemetery.

Mr Rhodes was a model man in every respect. He was beloved and respected by all who knew him. His loss is deplored not only by his immediate relatives but a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
