STORM LAKE PILOT TRIBUNE - May 16, 1913 - Mrs. Lena L. Reichter died at the Swallum Hospital in this city on Tuesday.

Some time ago she got her hand caught in a corn sheller and blood poison set in from this and from diabetes with which she had been afflicted for some time. It became necessary to amputate the arm and in her condition she could not stand the shock.

Lena Louisa Lederer was born in New Jersey, October 30, 1852, and was married to John C. Reichter before coming west. Years ago the family came to this county, settling in Grant township, which has since been their home. She was a woman who was devoted to her family and to her home.

Mr. Reichter died in 1905.

She leaves two sons and two daughters besides other, relatives to mourn. Funeral arrangements have not been made when this is written Thursday noon.
