December 11, 1908 - Storm Lake Buena Vista Vidette - The community was much shocked last Monday evening when it was announced over the telephone that Otto Pech, the 12 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. August Pech had died at 7 o'clock p.m. after an illness of but a few hours.

The remains were interred at Storm Lake Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Haendschke conducting the funeral services. They have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood in this, their hour of sorrow.
