Storm Lake Buena Vista Vidette - Jun 9, 1916 - Friends in this city and vicinity were sorry to learn on last Thursday of the death of Miss Grace Neuman who died at the home of her parents, Mr and Mrs H Neuman in Arco, MN on that day, following a short illness with kidney trouble.

Grace Neuman was born in Askum, Iroquois county, IL May 20th, 1900. She lived at that place until about seven years ago when with the family she moved to a farm near Sulphur Springs where she resided until about a year ago when the family moved to Arco, MN. She was an unusually quiet young lady and won friends wherever she went. She was one fo a family of 8 children: three brothers, John, George, and Leslie and three sisters: Mary Irene, and Emma, who besides her parents are left to mourn her beloved companionship.

One sister departed this life several years ago.

The remains were brought to Storm Lake on Saturday evening accompanied by her parents, to brothers and one sister, and was taken to the home of Miss Mary O'Brien. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon and interment made beside the sister who had resided here.

Among those present from out of town at the funeral were: Will Hartman of Heron Lake, MN; Adolph Moja, Brewster, MN; Eli, Chris, and Henry Hartman of Heron Lake, MN; John and Nick Hartman of Brewster, MN; Philip Hartman of Askum, IL; Bessie Tighe of Heron Lake; and Lovena Hartman of Brewster, MN.
