Storm Lake Register - Jul 12, 1923 - Miss Alice Nesbitt, aged 91 years, 9 months, and 3 days, died July 4 at the home of her niece, Mrs George Lyon in Minneapolis, MN. The remains were brought to Storm Lake Friday of last week and funeral services were conducted at the cemetery in this city where interment was made. Mrs Lyon accompanied the body to this city.

About 34 years ago the deceased made her home in Storm Lake for several years. At that time she made her home with a brother, John Nesbitt, who was a widower and to Miss Nesbitt is due the credit for rearing the two children of her brother, one of whom was Mrs Lyon. When the latter married and removed to Minneapolis to make her home the deceased also went to that city to reside.
