Storm Lake Register - Feb 11, 1941 - Mrs Katie Martine, 69, well known resident of Buena Vista county, passed away early Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs Ed Meyers, north of Truesdale. Her husband preceded her in death on the same date 10 years ago.

Mrs Martine formerly resided in Storm Lake and made many friends and acquaintances during her long residence here. For some time she has made her home with the Meyers family, her death followed an illness of about 4 weeks.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Storm Lake Baptist church. Burial will be in the Storm Lake cemetery.

Mrs Martine is survived by two daughters and a son. They are Blanche (Mrs Ed Meyers); Stella (Mrs Martin Wassenberg) of Colpet, WY; and Schultz of Sacramento, CA.

Mrs Martine was born in Germany on May 19, 1871.
