Storm Lake Register - February 28, 1918 - Willard Lemm, a resident of Storm Lake for many years, died at his home in Minneapolis, Minn. on Thursday, February 21 after an illness of some time with hardening of the arteries and other complications.

Mr Lemm was seventy-three years of age. He moved from Storm Lake to Lakefield, Minn a number of years ago, and from there he moved to Minneapolis about a year and a half ago.

He leaves to mourn his loss two sons: Fred Lemm in of Lakefield, Minn and C.A. Lemm of Everly who brought the remains to Storm Lake for burial. The remains were brought to Storm Lake Saturday evening and short funeral services were held at the Hughes undertaking parlors Sunday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock conducted by Rev W.T. Macdonald of the Methodist church, and interment was made in the Storm Lake cemetery beside the wife who had proceeded him.

Mr Lemm was an old soldier and comrades Orville James, A.P. Harlan, Frank Martine, George Currier, C.P. Matson, and H.G. Moore acted as pall bearers.
