September 26, 1913 - Storm Lake Buena Vista Vidette - Jane Williams was born in Wicklow county, Ireland, August 15, 1818 and died in Storm Lake, September 18, 1913.

When twelve years of age she united with the church of England to which faith she remained faithful to the end of her life. She was married to Dennis Lawler in 1855. To this union were born four children, Dennis of Farleigh, Iowa; Sam of Butt, Montana; Mrs. W.T. Johnston of Storm Lake; and Mrs. Wm. Huntington, all of whom but the last named are living.

She was the youngest of twelve children all of whom have preceded her to the great world beyond. In 1857, two years after her marriage, she came to this country with her husband and two children and settled in Farleigh, Iowa.

After the death of her husband about thirty-five years ago, she came to Storm Lake and has made her home with her daughter ever since. Here she enjoyed loving care and ministration until the call came to the "home of many mansions."

She leaves to mourn her loss two sons, and a daughter, and 11 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

The funeral was held Sunday after noon at the home, Rev. T Ambler conducting the services, and the body was laid to rest in the Storm Lake cemetery.

Those present from out of town for the services were Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Lawler of Farleigh, Iowa, the grandson and wife, Mr. and Mrs John Johnston, of Eldora, Iowa, and the granddaughter, Mrs. Claud Baun, of Waterloo, Iowa.
