Storm Lake Pilot Tribune - October 30, 1924 - Henry A. Haarup passed away at his home near Sulphur Springs Tuesday evening October 28, at about 7:30 following a week's illness. The cause of his death was pneumonia.

Funeral services are being held this afternoon (Thursday) at the Presbyterian church at 2:20 in charge of Rev. Ambler.

Henry A. Haarup was born March 9, 1876 in Denmark. When 12 years of age he came to the United States with his parents and settled on a farm near Newell.

September 16, 1903, he was united in marriage to Hilke Nederhoff. Seven children were born to this union, one who died in infancy, and two boys and four girls who are at home. They are: Cecil, Edith, Harold, Josephine, Dorothy, and Hazel Haarup.

He leaves to mourn, his wife, his children; and one brother, Carl Haarup of New Jersey; and one sister, Mrs. Carrie Jensen of Early.
