Storm Lake Pilot Tribune - May 6, 1921 - Harry Green of this city received word last Monday that his brother, Ernest Green had died suddenly at his home in Chicago. Mr. Green lived in Storm Lake many years and was very well known.

Ernest Green was born in Sublett, Illinois, February 28, 1863 and died May 1, 1921, at the age of 58 years.

Mr. Green came to Iowa with his parents when yet a young man and at the age of 25 was united in marriage with Miss Alice Bresalen of Sioux City. To this union five sons were born, four of whom are now living. They are: Clifford of Sioux City; Walter of Buffalo, New York; and Louis and Jesse also of Sioux City.

Almost twenty-five years ago Mr. Green left Storm Lake and went to Chicago, where he conducted a barber shop until about a year ago when he bought a store that he owned at the time of his death. Mr. Green had had heart trouble for some time, however, his death was sudden and unexpected by the family.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the home of his brother in this city, at two-thirty. The service was conducted by Rev. Lillebridge of the Christian church and the body was laid to rest in Lake View cemetery.

Mr. Green is mourned by his wife and four sons and also by his mother, Mrs. Almedia Green, and brother, Harry Green of this city and Orange Green of Des Moines. The many friends of the Green family extend their sincerest sympathy to them In their time of sorrow.
