March 8, 1978 - Storm Lake Pilot Tribune - Mrs George (Viola) Green, 71, of Storm Lake, died Sunday March 5 in Amarillo, Texas on a return trip from Arizona. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 pm in the United Methodist church. Interment will be in the Storm lake cemetery under the direction of Hughes Nelson funeral home.

Mrs Green was born Jan 16, 1907 in Varina and moved with her parents to Storm Lake as young girl.

She is survived by her husband, George; a sister Mrs Kenneth (Dorothy) Snyder of DeKalb, Illinois.
