Milford Mail - January 21, 1932 - Ed Gran's mother, Mrs. Lena Gran, who died last week at Los Angeles, was buried at 2 o'clock last Sunday afternoon in the family lot at Storm Lake. The services were held in the Presbyterian church there.

Mr. and Mrs. Gran drove to Strom Lake and had a pretty difficult time getting there because of the snow. They returned Monday noon. The pallbearers at the funeral were five Gran brothers and a brother-in-law. The brothers were Mr. Gran; Emil and Rudolph Gran of Chicago; Oscar Gran of Minneapolis and Dr. Albert Gran of Storm Lake. The brother-in-law was Dr. Sayer of Chicago.

Three of Mrs. Gran's daughters also were present. They were Mrs. Nellie Jackson of Los Angeles; Mrs. Florence Sayer and Miss Emma Gran of Chicago. A brother of Mrs. Gran, Peter Florine of Moline, IL., also was present.

The Gran family was very much elated with a large and beautiful spray of flowers sent by the Milford fire department.
