Storm Lake Pilot Tribune - February 21, 1902 - Mrs Nellie Ghoslin was born in Isle LaMott, Grand Isle county, Vermont, Oct 21, 1822.

She was married in 1844 to Wm D Ghoslin and their family consisted of eight children, three sons and five daughters, of whom four are living.

She was a true and faithful Christian, a member of the Methodist church until her death, which came Saturday Feb 15, 1902 at 11:20 in the morning. The end came apparently without any pain, closing her eyes, she slept away at the age of 80 years.

A short funeral service was held at the home and the body was laid to rest in the Storm Lake cemetery.

Grandma's day has come, she had received her reward. My personal acquaintance with grandma was most pleasant. She had a sweet, happy disposition. As the 80 years of life weighted heavily upon her, she bore them with the patience of a true Christian. Grandma's body lies cold in death but her spirit rests in Christ. She is safely home at last.
