Laura Potter Brown, 91, died on May 18, 1991, at the Pleasant View Home, Albert City.

She was born on March 13, 1900, near Blue Earth, Minnesota. In 1923, she graduated from Mankato State Teachers College and subsequently taught school for a number of years. On June 20, 1925, she married Oscar J. Brown.

Laura had lived in Albert City since 1937 and had faithfully attended the Evangelical Free Church for over fifty years. She spent the last month of her life at the Pleasant View Home in Albert City.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son — Gene. Survivors include one son and his wife — Duane and Sue Brown; one daughter-in-law — Elizabeth Brown; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services for Laura Brown were held on May 21, 1991, at the Evangelical Free Church, Albert City, Pastor David Wells officiating. Burial took place at the Fairfield Township Cemetery, Albert City. The Sliefert Funeral Home, Albert City, was in charge of the arrangements.
