Cecil B. Anderson, 95, of Albert City, died on November 29, 1986, at the Pleasant View Home.

[Mrs.] Anderson, the former Cecil Beele Dahlstrom, was born on June 21, 1891, to Edward and Ida Dahlstrom at Streator, Illinois, in the spring of 1902. The family moved to Iowa and settled on a farm west of Albert City. She attended public school and then the Marathon High School from which she graduated in 1910. After attending Normal School in Cedar Falls, she taught in several rural schools including five years at Lincoln-Lee Consolidated School. She married Victor E. Anderson on March 2, 1927. They made their home on a farm west of Albert City until Mr. Anderson’s health necessitated their moving into town in 1943. He died on October 1, 1969. Mrs. Anderson remained in that home until 1975. She, then, moved into an apartment in Albert City. In 1981, however, she moved into the Pleasant View Home.

Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, she is survived by two sisters —-Alen Dahlstrom and Mrs. Ruben (Elise) Johnson, both of Albert City; along with numerous cousins.

Services for Mrs. Anderson will be held at 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Albert City. Rev. James Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Township Cemetery, Albert City. The Sliefert Funeral Home, Albert City, is in charge of arrangements.
