Chester “Ted” Anderson
March 4, 1903 - September 20, 1987

Chester "Ted" Aldwin Anderson, 84, of Albert City, died on September 20, 1987, at the Buena Vista County Hospital.

Ted was born on March 4, 1903, to George and Bertha Anderson at Linn Grove. Following his high school graduation, he worked in Rockford, Illinois. On January 23, 1932, he married Marie Johnson. They had lived in Albert City since 1938. For a number of years, he worked in the plumbing and heating business. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; one son — Greg, of Fullerton, California; two daughters — Mrs. John (Joan) Mackaman, of Ankeny, and Mrs. Robert (Carolyn) Ludwig, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; two brothers — Orville, of Sioux Rapids, and Russell, of Storm Lake; one sister — Martha Anderson, of Peterson; and seven grandchildren.

Services for Ted will be held at 10:30 a.m., September 23, 1987, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Albert City, Rev. James Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Township Cemetery, Albert City. The Sliefert Funeral Home, Albert City, is in charge of the arrangements.
