Mrs. James A. Hass, 39, of Denver, a former Sioux City resident, died Friday in Denver after an illness.

Services were Tuesday in Denver.

Mrs. Hass, the former Judith S. Whitman, was born in Buena Vista County. She was reared in Sioux City and graduated from East high school. She and her husband moved to Denver from Sioux City 15 years ago. She was employed at a Denver bank.

Survivors are her husband; a son Michael A. with the navy; two daughters, Christine Ann and Cheryl Lee, both at home; her father, J. Donald Whitman of Sioux City; a brother, Darrel Whitman of Sioux City, and a sister of Westfield.
