David Lee Medsker
November 28, 1954 - July 14, 2015

David Lee Medsker, age 60, of Kimball, Nebraska, died on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. David Medsker, a son of Daryl and Melba (Tibbetts) Medsker, was born on November 28, 1954, in Storm Lake, Iowa. Growing up in the Storm Lake and Alta area, he attended school in Alta.

David will be remembered as hard worker and a “Jack of all trades”. A volunteer fire fighter in Rembrandt as well as a volunteer EMT, he, also, served on the Rembrandt City Counsel. In addition, he spent many hours on the road driving truck, an occupation he enjoyed. Most of all, however, David loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Kari Graesing, of Spencer, Iowa, Jessica (Chris) Meyer, of Rembrandt, Iowa, and Cody Medsker, also of Rembrandt, Iowa; his mother, Melba Medsker, of Spencer, Iowa; his grandchildren, Trevor and Brooke Meyer, of Rembrandt, Iowa, and Landon Graesing, of Spencer, Iowa; and his sisters, Nyla Eala, of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and Barb Myking, of Spencer, Iowa; as well as extended family members and many friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, Daryl; and his sister and brother-in-law, Wanda (John) Tucker.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Rembrandt. Visitation will take place Monday, July 27, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
