Waldo "Walt" Schramm, 81, passed away peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona, on July 31, 2012. Walt was born on May 25, 1931, in Albert City and lived in Fort Dodge for many years before moving to Phoenix forty years ago. He enjoyed playing golf, trying his hand at cards, solving crossword puzzles, visiting casinos, and participating in Happy Hour.

Walt is survived by his wife of forty years, Leora; his daughter, Sandy Schramm; his step-daughters, Twyla McElderry (Allen) and Tami Weisenberger (Marc); his sons Keith Schramm (Lin) and Roger Schramm; his step-sons Tim Bemrich (Tami) and Tom Bemrich; his sister, Inez Eimers; and his brother, Donald Schramm (Maxine); as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
