May 28, 1935 - July 25, 2012Donna Mae Jesse, 77, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas.
Donna was born on May 28, 1935, in Flint, Michigan, to Julius A. and Pauline Sievers Bumann. In 1953, she graduated from Storm Lake High School. In November, 1994, she moved to Bella Vista from Storm Lake where she joined the Bella Vista Lutheran church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Bumann; a sister-in-law, Lois Jesse; and a brother-in-law, Merle Vesgaard.
She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Jesse, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two sons, Lynn Robert Jesse, and his wife, Sue, of Urbandale, and Alan A. Jesse, and his wife, Julie, of Peoria, Arizona; a daughter, Coleen M. Imming, and her husband, Doug, of Storm Lake; one brother-in-law, Glen Jesse, of Storm Lake; two sisters-in-laws, Donna Bumann, of Storm Lake, and Lola Vesgaard, of Scottsdale, Arizona; four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday August 1, 2012, at the Bella Vista Lutheran Church. A Committal Service will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
