Helen “Marguerite” Milton
September 16, 1917 - April 27, 2012Helen Marguerite Milton, age 94, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died April 27, 2012, at the Pleasant View Home in Albert City.
Helen Marguerite Milton, a daughter of Harvey A. and Sarah F. Benson, was born on September 16, 1917, in Unionville, Missouri, the youngest of four daughters. She attended school at Sulphur Springs, Iowa.
On February 3, 1938, Marguerite married Robert F. Milton at Elk Point, South Dakota. The parents of one son, Robert Duane Milton, the couple lived in Storm Lake, Iowa. For seventeen years, Marguerite worked in the dental office of Dr. Duethman.
Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters; her husband; and her son.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, June Salton; her daughter-in-law, Burt Milton; her nephew, Keith Moe; and their families.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City. Burial will be in the Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake. There will be no visitation. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City is in charge of the arrangements.
