Alma Jean Landgraf, age 81, of Omaha, Nebraska, and formerly of Storm Lake, Iowa, died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at her home in Omaha.

Alma Jean was born March 20, 1930, in Tracy, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Goreham) Landgraf. Growing up, she attended school in Storm Lake, graduating from St. Mary’s High School in 1948.

Alma was a lifelong Catholic and currently a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Omaha. She worked in the healthcare profession at the University Hospitals in Omaha where she specialized in maternity care. An avid reader, she enjoyed her hobby.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Eleanor Haselhoff, of Storm Lake, Iowa; eleven nieces and nephews: Al, Don, Steve, Barb, Mike, and Rick Jansen, Theresa Drewes, Marcella Brabec, John and Ed Haselhoff, and Alice May; and many great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews; in addition to other extended family and friends.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents; John and Dorothy Landgraf; her sisters: Marian Jansen and Lucille Landgraf; and her brothers-in-law, Raymond Jansen and Joseph Haselhoff.

Visitation: 6:00-8:30 p.m., March 23, 2012, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., March 24, 2012, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Vigil Service: 7:30 p.m. with a Rosary to follow on March 23, 2012, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Interment: March 24, 2012, at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa.
