Kevin Wall, 64, of Waterloo, formerly of Cedar Falls, died of cancer at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home on Friday, February 24, 2012.

Kevin Ira Wall was born November 14, 1947, in Storm Lake, the son of Marian and Phyllis Carrington Wall. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War.

On August 9, 1969, Kevin married Ruth Norton in Lawler; they later divorced. On August 8, 1980, he married Kathleen M. Sallee in Cedar Falls.

Kevin graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1965. After earning a BA from UNI in social work, he worked as a Juvenile Court Officer for the 1st Judicial District Juvenile Court Service for thirty-three years. In 2007, he retired as supervisor for the Black Hawk County office.

Kevin was on the Board of Directors of the Family Service League and President of the Board from 1999 to 2000. He served on the Juvenile Court Officers Training Committee and was recognized by the Iowa Supreme Court for his service in 1992.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Kathleen Sallee, of Waterloo; his daughters, Brenna (Shawn) Heggi, of Redlands, California, and Meghan (Matthew) Stephenson, of Ames; three grandchildren, Nevaeh Grace and Revae Ann Heggi and Graham Ira Stephenson; his brothers, Ted (Judy) Wall, of Schaller, and Bob Wall, of Bethel, Connecticut. He is preceded in death by his parents and a stillborn daughter, Rachael.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Parish of Waterloo. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Locke Funeral Home, 1519 West Fourth St., Waterloo. Following the services, his body will be cremated.
