Nick Kazos, age 34, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died January 30, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Nick Alexander was born June 18, 1977, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Alex and Judy (Hall) Kazos. He was baptized at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Sioux City where he was currently a member.

Growing up, Nick attended grade school in Storm Lake, graduating from Storm Lake High School in 1996 where he had played on the Storm Lake High School Golf Team.

Following high school graduation, Nick attended Buena Vista University in Storm Lake where he also participated on the Buena Vista Golf Team.

In his spare time, Nick enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He loved playing golf with family and friends. Nick was also an avid fan of both collegiate and professeional sports. He treasured his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Alex A. and Judy Kazos, of Storm Lake, Iowa; and his brother, Chad A. Kazos, of Chicago, Illinois; as well as aunts and uncles; cousins; extended family and many friends.

Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex and Viola Kazos.

Visitation: 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a Trisagion Prayer at 7:00 p.m., February 02, 2012, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Sioux City, Iowa.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., February 03, 2012, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Sioux City, Iowa.
Interment: February 03, 2012, at Graceland Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa.
