August 9, 1925 - October 27, 2004

Naoma Fleming, age 79, of Storm Lake, died Wednesday, October 27, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.

Naoma Florence Camp was born August 9, 1925, the daughter of Floyd Edwin and Anna Gertrude (Marthwig) Camp, of Sergeant Bluff. She grew up in Sergeant Bluff and graduated from Sergeant Bluff High School.

Those left to cherish her memory include her four sons: Floyd Patten, of Storm Lake, Jerry Patten, of Marshalltown, Steve Patten, of Spencer, and Edwin Patten, of Bremerton, Washington; one daughter, Sheryl Meyer, of Washington, D.C.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman Camp, of Wheaton, Missouri; two sisters: Wanda Camp, of Kansas City, Missouri, and Floydeane Wagner, of Fairmont, Minnesota; nieces, nephews, a host of friends, and one special little boy.

Memorials may be sent in Naoma's name to the American Heart Association.

Funeral services for Naoma Fleming were held on Friday, October 29, 2004, at 1:00 p.m., at the Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake with Pastor Richard Bender of the Alta Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in the Barnes Township Cemetery at Linn Grove under the direction of the Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake.
