Stacy Dumkrieger, age 54, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died November 29, 2011, in Iowa City, Iowa.
Stacy Joyce Dumkrieger was born October 4, 1957, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the daughter of John and Joyce (Small) Dumkrieger. As an infant, she was baptized at the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake where she was later confirmed.
Growing up, she attended school in Storm Lake, graduating from Storm Lake High School in 1977.
Stacy worked at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake in the purchasing department for over thirty years. She loved working and enjoyed all of her friends that she worked with.
In her spare time, Stacy had a passion for shopping. She loved listening to music and watching sports of any kind, especially basketball. Stacy enjoyed having visitors and company. She treasured her family and loved spending time with them. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, John and Joyce Dumkrieger, of Storm Lake, Iowa; a sister, Stephanie (Jeff) Politte, of Algona, Iowa; her nieces, Kelsey and Meredith Politte, of Algona, Iowa; her aunts: Delores Raveling, of Peterson, Iowa, and Roberta Small, of Rembrandt, Iowa; as well as many special cousins; lots of loving family; and her cat, Ebby.
Stacy was preceded in death by her grandparents: Homer and Bessie Dumkrieger and Charles and Blanche Small; as well as aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Visitation: 4:00-8:00 p.m., December 01, 2011, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., December 02, 2011, at the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Interment: December 02, 2011, at the Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa.
