Apotho Peter Omot, the infant son of Peter Omot and Achol Ogud, died shortly after birth at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa, on August 22, 2011.

Although Apotho’s life was brief, he experienced the love of his parents as well as the prayers and support of many family members and friends.

Apotho’s life will always be honored and remembered by his family which includes his parents: Peter and Achol, of Storm Lake, Iowa; two brothers, Abella and Ojem; his paternal grandparents, Omot Metho and Akoth Odhom; his maternal grandparents, Ojullu Ogud and Abang Ochan; as well as his aunts, uncles, and other extended family.

Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m. August 28, 2011, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Interment: August 28, 2011, at the Storm Lake Cemetery.

Blessed be the memory of Apotho Peter Omot.
