Bettiann Zoett
January 15, 1943* - October 17, 2004

Becky was with her husband and children as she entered eternal life Saturday, October 17, 2004, at the Taylor House in Des Moines. Her death followed a courageous battle with cancer.

Becky was born in Storm Lake and raised within the Newell area. She was a homemaker, a wife, and a mother as well as a daycare provider in both Storm Lake and Adel. She also worked as a caretaker in the healthcare industry.

Becky enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and all outdoor activities. She was an active member of the Lutheran faith and belonged to multiple charity organizations.

She is survived by her husband, Loren; her parents, Edgar and Betty Eickhoff; her in-laws, Bert and Pearl Zoet; her brothers, Bill and Tom; her children, Adam, Tammy, Eric, Rebecca, Paula, and Jim; and fifteen grandchildren.

Becky was preceded in death by her daughter, Jodey Lee Marusich; her grandmother, Carrie Hansen; and her brother, Steve Eickhoff.

Friends may call at the McCalley Funeral Home in Adel after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday with the family present from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Contributions can be directed to Faith Lutheran Church.

Funeral services for Bettiann "Becky" Zoett will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, Adel. Betty will be transported to her final resting place and a graveside services will be held Wednesday at the Newell Cemetery.
