Constance Jean Sorbe, 60, died of natural causes at her home in Des Moines on February 28, 2011.

Connie was raised on the family farm near Albert City and spent most of her adult life in Des Moines.

Survivors include her brother-in-law, Harold Fick, of Battle Creek; her sister-in-law, Connie Sorbe, of Spencer, and Chris Shulte, of Fonda; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Jewell Sorbe; her brother, Charles Sorbe; and her sister, Karen Sorbe Fick.

Cremation has taken place and her remains will be placed next to her beloved parents at the Storm Lake Cemetery at a later date.
