Oscar Carlson, 67, died this week at his home near Alta. He was found May 21 in his garage and it was determined that he had been dead for at least a day. The doctor stated that he had died of heart disease. It appeared that Mr. Carlson had been pumping a tire at the time of his death.

Oscar Emil Carlson was born in 1867 in Sweden. He never married and his only survivors are a brother, Victor Carlson of Alta and two brothers who live in Sweden. He was a farmer and also did carpentry work.

Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran church in Alta, with burial in the Scandinavian cemetery. (Alta Advertiser, 5-24-1928)
