Ralph Cottong
[June 12, 1880]* - August 15, 1957

Ralph Cottong, 77, died Thursday, August 15, 1957 at Rennick, Missouri, as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Monday. Services were Sunday afternoon from the Jones Funeral home in Alta and burial was in Woodlawn cemetery.

A long time resident of Maple Valley township, Mr. Cottong had been making his home in Rennick, Missouri, with his daughter. A son of John P. and Emma Cottong, he was born on June 12, 1880.

He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Walter Stegen, of Rennick, Missouri, and two sisters, Alma and Magda Cottong of Sioux City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna (Alta Advertiser 8-22-1957).
