March 21, 1910 - April 8, 1918

Bessie M. Rydstrom, 68, died April 8, 1978, at the Buena Vista Hospital in Storm Lake after a brief illness. Funeral services were Tuesday from the Marathon United Methodist Church with interment in the Poland Township Cemetery.

Bessie Marjorie Foreman was born March 21, 1910, to Bert and Sadie Foreman. On April 30, 1932, she married Lester A. Rydstrom at Elk Point, South Dakota.

She is survived by five children, Charles, of Omaha, Nebraska, Richard, of Gilmore City, Mrs. Maurice Redetzke, of Sedan, Kansas, Mrs. Gary Hopkins, of Laurens, and Leslie Joe, of Marathon (abstract, Laurens Sun, 4-20-1978).
