Calvin Carl Maiden
February 1, 1928 - February 19, 1981

Calvin "Tink" Maiden, 53, died February 19, 1981, at his home in Marathon. Services were February 23, 1981, at the United Methodist Church in Marathon with burial in the Poland Township Cemetery.

Calvin Carl Maiden was born February 1, 1928, near Ayrshire to Otto and Eva Groff Maiden. When he was three years old, the family moved to Marathon, and he lived there until his sudden death at his home Feb. 19.

He was united in marriage to Jerry Lou Hoover on November 19, 1948. They became the parents of three children, Janice Joy, Galen Hugh and Rhonda Sue.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Vaun and Vern.

Survivors include his wife, Jerry; his children, Janice Clausen, of Spencer, Galen Maiden, of Mallard, and Rhonda, of the home; a brother, Dean Maiden, of Sioux Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Johanson, of Ringsted and Bonnie Storck, of Britt; and a grandson, Adam James Clausen (abstract, Laurens Sun, 3-9-1981)
