Lorraine S. Baraibar, 50, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011, at the Park View Rehabilitation Center, Sac City.
Lorraine Suzette Cook Baraibar was born July 21, 1960, at Cumberland, Maryland. She graduated from Casper High School in Casper, Wyoming.
On April 18, 1981, she was united in marriage to Malcolm Donald Baraibar. The couple lived in many communities in California, and later in Henderson, Nevada, Fonda, Storm Lake, and Rockwell City. Lorraine managed restaurants for most of her life.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Don; her daughter, Angela (Dustin) Sanders, of Sac City; her son, Scott Baraibar, of Manson; her grandchildren, Sunshine, Dylan, and Quinten; her father, Harry Cook, of Casper, Wyoming; and her sister, Angie Rayner, of Casper, Wyoming. Lorraine was preceded in death by her mother, Fadra Sneathen Cook.
Her wishes were to be cremated. There will be a Gathering for family and friends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2011, at the Baraibar Home at 313 Pleasant St., Rockwell City. The Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City, is serving the family.
