Cory Gene Bethune, 25, of Storm Lake, was born November 29, 1976, the son of Robert and Linda (Imhoff) Bethune in Storm Lake. He was baptized on January 30, 1977, at the First United Methodist Church in Storm Lake. He attended school in Storm Lake and graduated from the Storm Lake high School in 1995. Cory enjoyed spending time with his daughter and nieces, snow boarding, and playing video games. Cory was employed by Graham Tire Company in Storm Lake.

Preceding Cory in death were his maternal grandparents, Boyd and Irene Imhoff, paternal grandfather, Lester Bethune, and one niece, Tara Lee Stille.

Survivors include his daughter, Emma Mae Mills of Alta; his parents, Robert and Linda Bethune of Storm Lake; sister Londa and husband David Stille of Storm Lake; brothers Travis Bethune and his fiancee Lisa Frederick of Newell, and twin brother Kyle Bethune of Storm Lake. Also surviving are his grandmother, Clara Bethune of Norfolk, NE.; two nieces, five nephews, eight aunts and eight uncles, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Cory G. Bethune were Friday, January 4, 2002, at the Sliefert Redig Funeral Home in Storm Lake with Pastor Douglas Haynes of the St. John Lutheran Church officiating.

Sliefert Redig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
