Matilda "Tillie" Parker, 92, formerly of Alta, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, died peacefully on Saturday morning, December 29, 2001, at Greendale Healthcare Center in Sheboygan, Wis.

She had previously resided at Harmony of Sheboygan, Wis., for five years.

Tillie was born on September 6, 1909, in Alta, the daughter of the late August and Emma (Peters) Dreier. She graduated from Alta High School. On December 13, 1934, she married the late Robert Milton Parker in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2001.

Tillie worked at Schuster's (Gimbels) in Milwaukee as an assistant buyer for over 20 years before her retirement.

Tillie was an active member of the Luther Memorial Chapel in Shorewood, Wis., and of the St. Michael Hospital Auxiliary. She also served as a volunteer at St. Michael Hospital and Goodwill Industries in Milwaukee for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean (Paul) Williams of Belmont, Calif., her son, John (Rosemarie) Parker of Oostburf, Wis.; five grandchildren, Scott (Sharon), and Jennifer Williams, Susan (Gus) Pablon, Jason and Seri Parker; two great grandchildren; one sister, Helen (Marvin) Sierck of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and one brother, Roy (Olive) Dreier of Fort Dodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Art (Emma) and Harold (Lucille) Dreier; one sister and brother-in-law, Laura (Roy) Christianson.

Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2002, at the Chapel of the Chimes located at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive in Brookfield, Wis. Reverend Kenneth Wieting will officiate. Entombment will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the Chapel of the Chimes in Brookfield, Wis., on Friday from noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends may contribute to a memorial fund established in her memory for the Luther Memorial Chapel, 3833 North Maryland Avenue, Shorewood, Wis., 53211.

The Wenig Funeral Home of Oostburg, Wis. is serving.
