Bradley Gene Smith, 36, passed away very suddenly on Monday, October 1, 2001, at Spencer, at the age of 36 years.

Brad, son of Wayne Smith and Marilyn (Albers) Peters was born on May 31, 1965, at Storm Lake. He was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church, Storm Lake. He currently attended Summit Evangelical Free Church in Alta.

Brad received his elementary and high school education in Storm Lake and attended one year of college.

Brad's greatest love was his family. His wife Lesa, his best friend; his children, his pride and joy. He enjoyed snowmobiling and hunting with A.J. He looked forward to coaching and playing softball with Jenna and Mackenzie.

In his professional life he was an owner of the Villager and Family Table Restaurants. His hobbies included water sports, golfing, carpentry; and a love of the Dallas Cowboys.

His survivors include his wife Lesa Smith of Storm Lake; son, A.J. Smith; and daughters, Jenna and Mackenzie Smith, all of Storm Lake; parents, Marilyn Peters and husband Don of Alta, and Wayne Smith and wife Mary of Tucson, Arizona; a sister Jodi Ippolito and husband Tom of Dallas, Texas; and in-laws Dave and Pat Lange and Todd and Barb Lange, all of Storm Lake; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Brad were held October 4, 2001, at Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Storm Lake with Pastor Doug Corlew officiating. Interment was in Storm Lake Cemetery.
