Lorna Lola Pepper, 81, died September 29, 2001, at her residence in Rochester, Minn.

Lorna was born June 1, 1920, in Galva. She was married to Melvin Pepper April 9, 1944, at Bethleham Lutheran Church in Renton, Washington.

Surviving are her husband, Melvin Pepper, two sisters, Lois Litchenberg of Alta and Wilma Sievert of Cherokee; a daughter, Louise and husband, Tom Bavis, New Richmond, Wisconsin; son, Harlan, and wife, Mary Pepper, Evergreen, Colorado, son, Warren, and wife, Donna Pepper, Mantorville, Minnosota.

Preceding in death was Lorna's parents and one brother.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2001, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Rochester, Minn., with Reverend Steven Schauder officiating.

There will be a memorial service on Thursday, October 4, 2001, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Alta prior to the burial at Buena Vista Cemetery, Storm Lake.
