Marie A. Knebel, 89, passed away on September 17, 2001. She was a former resident of Storm Lake and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Lincoln, Nebraska.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law James and Grace of Lincoln, Nebraska, grandchildren Shane and wife Mary, Jennifer and Michael Knebel, one great granddaughter, Megan Knebel; sister, Florence Shoemaker of Washington, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded into death by her husband Elmer.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 20, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Mary's with Fr. Robert Schimmer officiating.

Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Storm Lake. Memorials can be made to St. Peter's Church in Lincoln or St. Mary's Church in Storm Lake. Buthserus, Maser and Love Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
