Murlie Persons, 72, of Storm Lake, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2001, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.

Murlie May was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Parkers Prairie, Minn, the daughter of Floyd and Florence (Hendershot) Hennagir.

On June 24, 1947, she was united in marriage to Eugene Covert Persons.

Mrs. Persons was preceded in death by his parents; her husband, Eugene, in 1980 and one brother Okley Hennagir.

She is survived by one son Larry Persons of Storm Lake; two daughters: Deanna (Sue) Sinclair of Kingsville, Md. and Kathy Fournier of Belair, Md.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers: Lloyd Hennagir of Federal Way, Wash. and Floyd and his wife Dorie Hennagir of Cohasset, Minn. and one sister Elma Eggert of Fargo, N.D.

Funeral services for Mrs. Persons will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at Domian-Anderson Funeral Home in Bertha, Minn. Burial will be in Oak Valley Cemetery in Bertha.

Visitation is being held at Farber and Otteman Funeral Home in Storm Lake.
