Edward LeRoy Fox, Sr., 65, of Storm Lake, passed away Friday, March 9, 2001, at the Newell Good Samaritan Center.

Edward LeRoy, the son of Jacob and Mildred (Moore) Fox was born Nov. 8, 1935, in Barnes City. He attended school in Barnes City.

On Jan. 27, 1958, he was united in marriage to Joann Lednum in Minnesota. The couple lived in Waterloo and moved to Council Bluffs in 1970. He was employed as a carpenter, and he enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Fox is survived by his four sons: Edward LeRoy, Jr., and his wife Sue Fox of Omaha, Neb., Larry Dean Fox of Creston, Scott Warren Fox of Creston, and Gregory and his wife Valerie Fox of Oologah, Okla.; one sister and her husband Albert and Eggert Thomsen of Newell and one brother Frank Kaskadden of Oskaloosa.

Services will be held at a later date. The Farber and Otteman Funeral Home in Newell is in charge of arrangements.
