Benjamin Donath - June 19, 1921 - [Jan. 3, 2001]*

Benjamin Carl, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Cletha (Seitz) Donath, was born June 19, 1921, in Lincoln, Ill. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1939.

On July 6, 1942, he married Ruth Jones. To this union, three children were born: Michael Stephen, Karen Sue, and Benjamin Boyd.

Mr. Donath served in the United States Air Force for three years. He was employed for many years by Illico Oil Co. in Lincoln, Ill., before moving to Storm Lake in 1994.

Mr. Donath is survived by his wife Ruth of Storm Lake; two sons: Michael and his wife Martha Donath of Lincoln, Ill., and Benjamin and his wife Tina Donath of Storm Lake; one daughter Karen Donath of Normal, Ill.; one grandchild Alexis Donath; one brother and two sisters.

Preceding him in death were two sisters.
