Kenneth J. "Kenny" Johnson, age 67, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died Friday, April 23, 2010, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.
Kenneth J. Johnson, son of Kenneth and Dorothy (Peterson) Johnson, was born December 3, 1942, in Storm Lake, Iowa. He attended school in Storm Lake, graduating from Storm Lake High School in 1961.
On November 12, 1963, Kenny was united in marriage to Jane Rohlk in Moline, Illinois. This union was blessed with three children: Laura, Tiffany and Kreg.
Kenny worked at Hy-Grade/IBP/Tyson of Storm Lake, retiring in 2009. He was an avid sports fan especially of the Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes. Kenny enjoyed antique cars, but was most fond of his 1991 red corvette. More than anything, Kenny loved and adored his family and the time they spent together.
At the time of Kenny’s death, he donated his corneas and skin to the Iowa Donor Network, which will benefit 20-30 burn victims.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jane, of Storm Lake, Iowa; his children: Laura (Mark), Tiffany and Kreg; four grandchildren: Travis, Lindsay, Noah and Carter; one brother, Johnny (Peggy) Johnson; extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
