Lyle Wiley, age 57, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died Sunday, March 28, 2010.

Lyle E. Wiley was born November 7, 1952, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the son of Francis and Carolyn (Richardson) Wiley. He was baptized on March 29, 1953, at the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake where he was later confirmed in 1968.

Growing up, Lyle attended Storm Lake Community School where he graduated in 1971. He continued his education at Buena Vista College through 1974.

Lyle belonged to the I.O.O.F. Lodge, serving as Noble Grand twice since 1976. Lyle was a very hard worker and loved his job. He enjoyed traveling and a destination was seldom the object of any kind of trip. Lyle was adventurous in his travels and the fun came in getting place to place without any kind of direction.

Those left to cherish his memory include his special friend, Mary Lou Redenius, of Arthur, Iowa; his brothers: Ralph (Angela) Wiley of Storm Lake, Iowa; Lowell (Patti) Wiley of Mississippi; sister-in-law, Bonnie Wiley, of South Carolina; uncles; aunts; nephew; nieces; extended family and friends.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Carolyn Wiley; and his brother, Roger Wiley.

Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m. April 02, 2010, at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa
