Virginia Nussle - July 28, 1937 - Aug. 25, 2004

Virginia Mae (Frolund) Nussle, 67, of Monroeville, PA, passed away at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, on Wednesday August 25, 2004.

Virginia was born July 28, 1937, the daughter of Ole and LaVon (Johnson) Frolund. She was baptized, confirmed, and married in the Nain Lutheran Church in Newell. She attended Newell public schools, graduating in 1956. She moved to Chicago in 1958, then on to Monroeville in 1963.

Virginia worked as a nursing assistant and companion to the elderly and disabled. She was a member of the Monroeville Senior Citizens and active at the Trafford Manor Senior Highrise. "Ginny" was an outgoing person who enjoyed friends and family.

Left to cherish her memory are: her son Kurt Nussle and wife Carol of Monroeville, PA; daughter Karen Wigglesworth of Aliso Viejo, CA; grandchildren Grey and Cole Wigglesworth; mother LaVon Frolund of Newell, sister Janet Mahood and husband Gary of Ida Grove, IA; other relatives and friends as well as family in Denmark.

Virginia was preceeded in death by her father Ole Frolund.

Funeral services were held at the Jobe Funeral Home in Monroeville on Saturday, August 28. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 4, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fratzke-Jensen Funeral Home in Newell with Pastor Paul Johnston of Nain Lutheran Church in Newell officiating. Interment will follow at the Newell cemetery.
