Hugo Poroj-Ramos - Oct. 15, 1972 - June 13, 2009

Hugo Poroj-Ramos, age 36, of Storm Lake, died Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.

Funeral services for Hugo were held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Burial will be in San Rafael Pacaya 2 Cemetery in Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements. On Oct. 15, 1972, Hugo was born to Francisco Poroj Perez and Juliana Ramos Guinac in Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. As a child, he attended grade school.

Hugo and his partner Sonia Lorenzo of Guatemala have two children, Hugo Adonias and Erwin J Poroj Lorenzo.

Hugo enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved being able to attend soccer games to watch his nephews and friends play. Huge will be deeply missed by his family and his many friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his partner, Sonia Lorenzo of Guatemala; his children, Hugo Adonias and Erwin J Poroj Lorenzo; his four brothers: Ines, JaVier, Angel and Epifanio of Guatemala; his nephews of Storm Lake; extended family and many friends.
